Henry Atkinson has performed a total hip replacement that has been very successful. I am pleased that I have also been referred to him to address knee issues. He listens, informs and advises very clearly so I've known the diagnosis, prognosis etc and can consider and agree on options and treatment going forward.

Henry is the most superb surgeon I have met. HIs professionalism, kindness, care and understanding are second to none. He listens to you as a patient, understands what your needs are and is prepared to go the extra mile to get things right. Nothing is too much trouble for him, he is flexible in how and when he can see you and responds really quickly when things are not right. He has a great sense of humour and it is testimony to home that all the nursing staff absolute rate him very very highly. Henry is honest with you as a patient so you know exactly where you stand and what to expect. He was recommended to me and I view him as a very precious gem in my life who has got me pain free and given me the ability to resume the high level of activity I was used to and maintain my career as a PE Teacher. His dedication to his job and the NHS is remarkable and inspiring and the NHS is made great just because of Henry. I consider him a lifelong friend.
